North Alabama (Tennessee Valley) Alumnae Association
July 23, 6:30pm - Third Quarter TVAA Meeting (business) : Rosies Rest. (hwy 72) Huntsville, AL
July - Third Quarter dues DUE.
The meeting was called to ordered at 6:45p.m. at Rosies Mexican Cantina Restaurant (hwy 72) in Huntsville,
Alabama. Those present were Andrea Childress, Laura Beth Daws, Laura Dewing, Miranda Howard, Ashley Stutts, Amy Boller, Jennifer
Davis, Joy Moats, Connie Ward (Huntsville Alumnae President), Tiffany Mize, Patti Lubisco, Chandra Dye Medellin (guest). Agenda
were past out on upcoming events by President Andrea Childress, & an attendance list was past around.
Reports were as the following: Connie Watson Ward the Huntsville Alumnae President discussed Huntsville Alumnae Association
joining up with North Alabama (TN Valley) Alumnae Association on events, projects & meetings.
TVAA President Andrea Childress thanked & congratulated everyone for all of their hard work & donations. It was
announced that Tennessee Valley (North Alabama) Alumnae Association won DIAMOND 4 POINT and ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
at 2003 Alpha Delta Pi Convention. Zeta Eta won the DIAMOND 4 POINT. They also received Recruitment and Legacy
Awards! Laura Beth Daws ('99) won the Dorothy Shaw Award. Zeta Eta's former Province Director and current
District Team Director, Mrs. Claire Gwaltney, was elected to one of the International Vice President of Collegiate
Chapter Membership positions.
All information that is sent to Nationals must now have NORTH ALABAMA added with in the name Tennessee Valley Alumnae
Association.
Potential Member Profile & recommendation letters need to be mail to Alpha Delta Pi - Zeta Eta

The University of North Alabamas 2003 Recruitment was discussed by TVAA. Dates are as the following: August 10-13, 2003
- Zeta Eta's Spirit Week. August 14-18, 2003
Zeta Eta/University of North Alabama's 2003 Recruitment Week. We will be feeding around 50 members
for the four nights of recruitment week. Food needs to be ready & waiting for the chapter at the following times:
Thursday 14th at 6:15 to 7:00 partys break. There will be 13 pizza ordered for Thursday. Friday Night
15th at 9:15 after the parties two Wal-Mart deli trays will be ordered for Friday. Thursday & Fridays food
was donated by Carrie Travis Albright, Joy Owen Moats, Tiffany Mize Boags, Laura Beth Daws, Laura Dewing, Andrea Childress,
Chandra Dye Medellin, Amy Boller, Miranda Howard & Adrienne Hinton.; Sat. Night 16th at 8:45 after the
parties Connie Watson Ward will be providing "buckets of SUB" sandwiches and Heather Warren Simms will be providing four 2-litters,
two bags of chips & dip.; Sunday Night 17th at 8:30 after the parties Kelly Johnson Hudson & friends
will be coordinating food. Ashley Minor Stutts will be proving paper goods for ALL four nights. See " Event Calendar" (http//:TVAAadpi.tripod.com)
for other party/recruitment times.
DONATIONS are welcomed & still needed for the chapter. Chips, 2-liter drinks,
desserts, finger foods, snacks & etc. are needed all nights and can be dropped off at the ZH chapter room (call box 5665)
at anytime. Money can be mailed to TVAA - P.O. Box 668 Florence, AL 35631.
Due to the chapter being so close to total this year only a few alumnae will be allowed in the recruitment room this year.
Please let the chapter know if you plan to attend RECRUITMENT (girl2busy@aol.com). Your name will have to be added
to the Panhellenic guest list.
Zeta Eta's Bid Day 18th at 1:00; Reminder that FOOD, FLOWERS, SIGNS & CARDS are welcomed
