Dear
Sisters,
Zeta Eta
Chapter is on the move! The University of North Alabama has built two new
state of the art residential halls for sorority use and assigned Alpha Delta Pi the second floor of Appleby West Hall. Their
residential space will also include a lounge, kitchen, office, and large chapter room.
This
fall semester, along with their preparations for new sorority dorms the chapter has also just completed a successful 2004
formal recruitment, and is now working hard to prepare their new Alpha class for initiation. On campus you will see many of these Sisters active with leadership rolls in Student Government Association,
Phi Beta Lamba, Habitat for Humanity, LaGrange Society, Rho Lambda & Resident Life just to name a few of their activities.
Then there is always busy campus life getting ready for upcoming events such as Crush Party, Intramurals, Homecoming, and
the Miss UNA Pageant in which they have three women competing in this year. This is where you as alumnae can help Zeta Eta.
As you can
imagine, new housing of any form is a major investment. The University has paid for the construction of the facility and the
chapter must maintain it at capacity in order to continue their lease agreement. In addition, it is the chapter’s responsibility
to furnish some of the common spaces in the hall. Alumnae support is critical for Zeta Eta Chapter to maintain a competitive
edge with the other groups on campus. We hope you will be willing to make a financial contribution to help pay for window
treatments and new furniture. The level of our fundraising will determine the type and amount of furniture we are able to
purchase.
The members
of Zeta Eta Chapter have worked very hard and are proud of their many accomplishments. Your support will help insure that
this chapter will be successful for many years to come. EVERY DOLLAR WILL HELP!!! No matter the size of your donation, Zeta Eta Chapter will be grateful for your
support.
If you are
interested in contributing to the decorating fund for Zeta Eta Chapter, please complete the enclosure included with this letter
and return it to Gail Wilson, Controller at Executive Office. Non tax-deductible donation checks should be made out to Alpha
Delta Pi for the "Zeta Eta Decorating Fund" and mailed to Executive Office, 1386
Ponce de Leon Avenue, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia
30306.
