Deadline: 11/1/2004
The sisters of Zeta Eta began the
2004 fall semester by welcoming their Alphas into a new state of the art residential hall built by the University (East &
West) for sorority campus use and assigned Alpha Delta Pi the second floor of Appleby West Hall. Their new residential space
includes suites, a lounge, kitchen, office, and large chapter room. Donations to help cover the chapter room expenses can be made out to Alpha Delta Pi for the "Zeta Eta Decorating Fund"
and mailed to Executive Office, 1386 Ponce de Leon Avenue, N.E.,
Atlanta, Georgia 30306.
The sisters of Zeta Eta won a University Chant Contest.
The winning chant will become the University’s official chant. Whenever
the chant is displayed on tshirts, flyers, and yearbooks, the Sisters of Alpha Delta Pi will be added underneath the chant.
Zeta Eta has four
sisters in the Student Government Association (SGA) in which one serves as the SGA Secretary. Three other sisters are represented
in the Habitat for Humanity and had the largest representation of the Greeks at the Reeding Partner Mentors meeting in
September 2004. There are three ADPIs competing for the title of Miss UNA. The
Chapter President serves as the head Resident Assistance (RA) and one of the Alphas is the Secretary for the business club,
Phi Beta Lambda. A Delta serves on the Lagrange Society and another Delta was
chosen as an orientation counselor (SOAR). Two Deltas have been tapped for Rho
Lambda. Zeta Eta also won an award for most improved GPA.
A full
