Furniture Donation Project - The sororities at the University of North
Alabama will all be moving into new chapter rooms
/ dorms in the fall of 2004. The ADPi Alumnae Association will begin asking alumnae, chapter members, friends &
family to donate money & furniture items to furnish the new chapter room. NOTE: Folding Chairs will be
the main items needed, and will they be used for chapter meetings & recruitment. (More information to be mailed out soon!)
Welcome from
the Tennessee Valley
(North Alabama) Alumnae Association of Alpha Delta Pi. The fall of 2004 is a very exciting time at the University of North Alabama as we open the
new sorority dorm (Appleby East /West). Along with this much anticipated news, Nationals, the Tennessee Valley
Alumnae Association and Zeta Eta Chapter are asking that as alumnae we show our support and help the chapter make this
transition with ease.
One way we can help our sisters is by helping finance the decoration of their new chapter room.
The following is a list of items that the chapter needs: Trophy case/shelves, 75 folding
chairs, window treatments, draperies, art work, and most importantly furniture. As alumnae of the first and the
finest there is no better time than the opening of a new dorm to show Zeta Eta our support and love! As you
can imagine, without your support these women will not have the memories of a chapter room that we were all so fortunate
to have.
Donations in any amount are needed and will be greatly appreciated. At
this point we are unclear about the details, but know that in the new chapter room there will be a place recognizing all the
alumnae who helped make this possible! Please fill out the follow donation card and mail back to Alpha Delta
Pi (Executive Office/ Nationals) at 1386 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE Atlanta, Georgia 30306.
In
addition, The University of North Alabama homecoming will be held October 23, 2004. This would be an excellent
opportunity for all of us to see the new chapter room and how our donations were used. Plus, it is a great time
to reunite with our sisters and meet the women who now carry on the tradition of Zeta Eta Chapter.
Again, thank you for making Alpha Delta Pi what it is today. We are a sorority build strong on tradition
and support for each other. Why else would we be the First and the Finest?
Loyally,
Alpha Delta Pi

Dear Sisters,
The Tennessee Valley Alumnae Association is beginning a philanthropy project
to collect tabs (a.k.a. pop-tops) for the Ronald McDonald House. We will be working on this year round project with
the Zeta Eta Chapter to help raise money for the RMH. This will be an easy project, and it would be wonderful if everyone
could help by collecting the tabs at your workplace, home, church, community center, a near by school, or any other great
place that you can think of for this project. TVAA will be collecting the tabs throughout the year during any of our
alumnae meetings/socials or ZH events. If you need a place to drop the tabs off before a TVAA or ZH event you can take
the tabs to the ZH Chapter room or you can contact me (Ashley), and I will take care of them.
Here are a few fun facts about tabs you might want to share:
- We only collect the
tabs because it's a higher grade of aluminum, plus it's much cleaner.
- Over 400 million tabs
have been collected generating over $300,000
- It takes 900 tabs to equal one
pound, so each tab counts
Thank you again so much, and if you have any questions or need anything
please let me know.
Loyally,
Ashley Miner Stutts
